Onomi and SpotMe
Onomi is the life sciences brand of SpotMe. Same company, same platform, same team — Onomi is the name that platform carries when it is dedicated to pharma and life sciences.
One platform, two names
SpotMe has built enterprise event and engagement software since 2001. Over two decades, life sciences became the platform’s deepest specialization: HCP data handling, consent capture, congress operations, and native Veeva and Salesforce integration. In October 2024, that specialization got its own name — Onomi — a dedicated suite for pharma covering congresses, webinars, advisory boards, medical education, speaker programs, and meetings intelligence.
Nothing forked. Onomi runs on the SpotMe platform, is built by the SpotMe team, and inherits the SpotMe security and compliance posture (SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, GDPR-aligned HCP data handling — see the Trust center).
If you know SpotMe, you already know Onomi
- Analyst coverage: most research firms evaluate the company under the SpotMe name, with Onomi called out as its life sciences suite — Forrester named SpotMe a Leader in the Wave for all-in-one event management platforms (Q4 2024), and Everest Group assessed the company under the Onomi brand directly. The full picture is on the analyst coverage page.
- Track record: the platform behind Onomi has run HCP congresses, webinars, and meetings for pharma for years — Onomi is the productized, named version of that specialization, not a new product.
- Corporate: SpotMe is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, with offices in Chicago IL, Singapore and Sofia, Bulgaria. Onomi is a brand of SpotMe, not a separate legal entity.
When you see “SpotMe” in an analyst report, a security review, a contract, or a colleague’s recommendation, it is describing the same platform, team, and technology behind Onomi.
SpotMe and Onomi, in plain terms
Is Onomi the same company as SpotMe?
Yes. Onomi is the life sciences brand of SpotMe — the same platform, team, and technology. SpotMe launched Onomi in October 2024 as its dedicated suite for pharma HCP engagement.
Why does SpotMe have a separate brand for life sciences?
Because pharma engagement has requirements generic event software doesn't carry: consented HCP data capture, identity resolution against CRM, MDM, and NPI records, medical–commercial firewalls, and native Veeva and Salesforce write-back. Onomi names the suite built for exactly that.
Do analyst reports evaluate SpotMe or Onomi?
Both. Forrester, Gartner, and IDC evaluate the company under the SpotMe name with Onomi called out as its life sciences suite; Everest Group assessed the company under the Onomi brand directly. When a report says SpotMe, it is describing the platform behind Onomi.
I'm a SpotMe customer — is Onomi a different product I need to buy?
Onomi is the same platform packaged for life sciences: congress engagement, HCP webinars, advisory boards, medical education, speaker programs, and meetings intelligence, with the CRM connectors and compliance posture pharma requires. Existing SpotMe relationships, security reviews, and integrations carry over.
